Education

Some things I have learned recently:

1. Watching Dawn of the Dead (1970) and then walking back to one's dorm alone in the dark is a good way to spook yourself.
2 Going to bed without turning the air on is both a good way to wake up hot at 2am and also an excellent way to wake up convinced that there is some horrible reason it's so quiet.
3. Just because the sun is behind the clouds does not mean it's going to be nice, cool weather.
4. When I am sleepy and not happy about it, I look like a disgruntled cat.
5. Sleeping in the nude is a delightful practice and is possible in a dorm room if you go to bed after and get up before your roommate or are good at both undressing under the covers and not kicking said covers off.
6. Fellow nerds and geeks can be harder to pinpoint than you'd think.

Backed into a corner

Well....here I am, utterly mired down. I don't know what I should be doing here. I'm overdrawn and still owe for my dorm. I have to buy more books for my English class. I have to attend performances. Does anyone know a night club looking for dancers? I can learn.

And, if that wasn't bad enough, I've got issues on all sides. One of them is quietly digging into a hole and doesn't see it. Another...so emotionally attached to me that I don't want to know what will happen some Summer Break. When my not attending a weekend roadtrip becomes reason for emotional episode on either side, it's a problem. And, of course, there's everything else.

What am I supposed to do?
